HISTORIC STOREFRONT RENOVATION

The Owners, longtime friends, purchased a simple storefront building which contributed to the historic character of an old commercial street.

We helped them connect with the State Historic Preservation Office and with a key consultant who shepherded the project through application for and acceptance as a listed Historic Property.

In conjunction with the State we developed appropriate low-key specifications and drawings to restore the facade and maintain the original.  Why throw away an old building when it can be cleaned up and stay in service? The street maintains an old landmark which the community knows.

We appreciate historic buildings and believe that their presence adds vibrancy to a streetscape.
